CONFLUXTRADING LIMITED, trading as Conflux, respects personal data privacy and handles website enquiries in line with the data protection principles of Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486).
1. Who controls the data
CONFLUXTRADING LIMITED, trading as Conflux, controls the personal data collected through this website. Our contact address is Room B7, Flat 11, 3/F, Block 1, Nan Fung Industrial City, 18 Tin Hau Road, Tuen Mun, Hong Kong. Privacy questions, access requests and correction requests can be sent to info@confluxgloble.com.
2. What we collect
When you submit the contact form, we collect the name, corporate email, company name, optional phone number and project information you choose to provide. The hosting service may create standard security and access logs such as IP address, request time, browser information and requested page.
The contact endpoint temporarily uses a one-way hash derived from the submitting IP address to limit automated abuse. The raw IP is not added to the enquiry email by CONFLUXTRADING LIMITED.
3. Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and understand the requested service or project.
- To arrange conversations, prepare a relevant follow-up and maintain appropriate business records.
- To secure the website, prevent spam and investigate technical or security incidents.
- To meet legal obligations or establish, exercise and defend legal claims where necessary.
4. Whether providing data is required
Providing information is voluntary. If you do not provide your name, email and enough project context, we may be unable to respond effectively. The phone field is optional.
5. Who receives it
Enquiries are sent to authorised personnel of CONFLUXTRADING LIMITED and may be processed by our website hosting and email providers as necessary to deliver and secure the service. We do not sell personal data or use contact enquiries for third-party advertising.
We may disclose information where required by law, court order or a competent public authority, or where reasonably necessary to protect rights, security and legal claims.
6. International processing
Service providers may process data outside Hong Kong. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to select providers and arrangements that protect the information consistently with its nature and the applicable requirements.
7. Retention
Enquiry records are kept only for as long as needed to respond, manage the potential business relationship, maintain necessary records and meet legal obligations. Temporary rate-limit records expire automatically after a short anti-abuse window. Hosting logs follow the hosting provider’s operational retention settings.
8. Security
We use HTTPS, input validation, restricted access, anti-spam controls and ordinary administrative safeguards. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not submit passwords, payment information, confidential credentials or highly sensitive personal data through the general contact form.
9. AI Readiness Assessment
The assessment is calculated in your browser. Answers are not sent to CONFLUXTRADING LIMITED or stored by the website. If you choose “Discuss this result”, a plain-text summary is inserted into the contact form; it is transmitted only if you then submit that form.
10. Access and correction
You may ask whether CONFLUXTRADING LIMITED holds personal data about you and request access to, or correction of, that data, subject to applicable law. Send the request from an email address that allows us to verify your identity. We may request additional verification and may charge a fee only where permitted by law.
11. Analytics, marketing and cookies
We do not currently run behavioural advertising, Google Analytics or other visitor analytics on this website. See the Cookie Policy for further details.
12. Updates
We may revise this policy when our processing, service providers or legal requirements change. The current policy will remain available here.
